Nelson and I went on a short trip to the mountains recently. We stayed in a three bedroom two bath cabin in Hayesville, North Carolina. The weather was beautiful and it was wonderful to get away for a few days. Nelson's parents and Aunt Emma met us there. We had lots of fun! One thing that was really fun was playing Nintendo Wii with Nelson's mom and Aunt Emma. They had never played before and had a great time playing. We wound up bowling until 3:00 a.m.

A mountain trip would not be complete without a hike to a waterfall. This is Amicalola Falls it usually has much more water than this and the surroundings are usually green. This has been a dry year so the water flow is slow and since it's winter the trees are still brown.
Isn't the Wii addicting? Mom, Dad, Richard and I were all playing it for hours the night before we were due to leave Kodiak. Dad stomped us all on darts!
