Catching up!

I am way behind with posting to this blog so
I am going to attempt to catch up with some photos from
recent and past events. Where does all the time go?

Delvy turned one today.
I made him his own birthday cake and a special birthday hat.

Delvy thought his birthday cake was really yummy!

Boxes are so fun. He loves to climb inside of them and play.

This was his Halloween loot.

Grandma and Tigger on Halloween night.
It was Hot and humid and Delvy was sweating in his Tigger costume.

Tigger on the run!

Awe, Tigger was admiring the baby.

Spaghetti is delicious!

Daredevil Delvy - No Fear at all...

Trying on the Tigger suit after I bought it.

Delvy loves to drag everything out of the cabinets so we
had to put locks on all except one of them. We kept one open that he
can play in. He loves to empty it and drags everything out on the kitchen floor.

A fun moment on our vacation to Savannah.

I captured this shot one day while Delvy was admiring himself in the mirror.

Taking a dip in the pool. July 4th.

Delvy started walking at 8 1/2 months old.
These are some of his first steps.

Fun at the Lake

This summer we rented a house on Kingsley Lake and enjoyed swimming, tubing, boating, fishing, sunning, relaxing and whatever else you can do at a lake. We were there for a week and since it was only 45 minutes from home we had lots of visitors which made it even more fun.

"Family portrait in the Lake"

Zac, Vickie, Daniel and Delvy.

Delvy, grandma and Aaron.

Delvy and grandpa enjoyed the swing on the dock.

Captain Nelson was usually the one piloting the boat.

This is Brandon Morse (good friends of ours son) and Zac Register (Delvy's big brother) Two of the many tubers that we pulled behind the boat during the week.

Even grandma and Delvy got in on the tubing!

Aaron, Evan and Brandon, three of five brothers floating around on the tube.

Nelson and Ethan are on the boat, Christian is in the water.
(Ethan and Christian are the other two brothers of the five)

Daniel is teaching Delvy to fish.

Zac and Delvy.

Aaron caught a fish.

We had a great week. We are so glad that our friends and family were able to enjoy this fun time with us. I regret that the days that Art came I did not get any pictures of him. I will have to post some pictures of him another time.

This and that....

As usual it has been a while. Life is just too busy and I find it difficult to find time to post things. Delvy is now 7 months old. He has some teeth, loves to eat, is crawling and loves to stand up. I just got a new camera so I am posting some pictures and a video that I have taken with it.
Delvy's first teeth.
It took me about 6 pictures before I actually got one of his teeth.
Delvy was standing up in his playpen and fell down.
He just layed there so I quickly grabbed my camera.
We had to buy a new car seat since he grew too big for his other one.
Delvy likes his new seat and the box that it came in.
I got a new camera and Delvy got new PJ's.

Learning to crawl.

Dirt is so much fun!

Nelson and I went to see his mom to wish her a happy Mother's Day
and when we got home this is what we found. I quickly ran in
the house and got my camera to take advantage of this photo opportunity.
Delvy and his brother Zac playing in the dirt.
Delvy is teething and drools alot, the dark spot near his belly button is mud
created from drool and dirt.
Delvy thought this was great fun!

I never knew dirt could be so cute.

Studio Portraits

I took Delvy to a portrait studio today for his first
photo shoot and wanted to share some of the pictures.

In spite of the fact that things were hectic and Delvy got
fussy before we were finished we got some really cute photos.

The pictures turned out really cute but I didn't know I needed to take out a loan, I was broke when I left the studio.

The joy of my grandbaby.

Delvy likes me to raise him up in the air on my knees.
Delvy was standing all by himself so I had to take the picture quickly.
I love that he threw his arm up, it looks like he was waving.

He's such a happy baby.
We went to the doctor yesterday for Delvy's four month check up and shots. He weighed in at 15lbs 3 oz and he is 26 1/4 inches long. He is such a sweet baby I am so glad that I get to spend time with him every day.
